The Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) is gearing up for its highly anticipated return this summer with an electrifying lineup that promises to dazzle music lovers of all genres. Set to take place from July 4 to 14 at the iconic Place D’Youville in Quebec City, the festival’s 56th edition boasts an impressive roster of headliners, including global sensations like Post Malone, 50 Cent, Jonas Brothers, J Balvin, and Nickelback.
Louis Bellavance, VP of Content and Artistic Direction at BLEUFEU, the organization behind FEQ, expressed his excitement about the diverse lineup in a recent press release. “We are extremely proud of this incredibly diverse lineup,” Bellavance said. “From current pop sensations like the Jonas Brothers and the incomparable Post Malone, to the legendary rapper 50 Cent, rock enthusiasts will have three explosive nights to look forward to. And let’s not forget about the depth and variety of performances across all stages, from country and electronic to francophone and neo-classical.”
In addition to the headliners, the festival will feature performances by a wide array of artists, including Mötley Crüe, The Offspring, Nas, Rise Against, Clay and Friends, Alexandra Stréliski, Arkells, The Zac Brown Band, Carly Rae Jepsen, Mike Demero, Alan Walker, The Dead South, Loud Luxury, Fleet Foxes, Killswitch Engage, Kansas, Alaclair Ensemble, and many more.
To enhance the fan experience, FEQ will offer two free stages for additional performances: Place D’Youville and the Hydro-Québec Stage at Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale. This move aims to make the festival more accessible to all music enthusiasts.
Passes for the festival are currently available for sale on feq.ca for $150 (including taxes), with Signature Bell Zone passes and tickets for the Jardin Air Canada set to go on sale April 4. A second round of sales will be offered to those who sign up for the FEQ newsletter.
While the lineup has generated excitement among many fans, others have expressed mixed reactions. Some have voiced disappointment over the absence of certain artists, while others have praised the diversity and depth of the lineup.
