Quebec City has fewer permanent buffets than it once did. A useful search now separates year-round all-you-can-eat restaurants from hotel brunches offered only on holidays or selected dates.
Large international buffets
Buffet des Continents and Restaurant Tomas Tam are names commonly associated with broad, family-friendly selections. Confirm that the location is operating, whether reservations are required and which meal periods actually use the buffet format.
All-you-can-eat sushi
Sushi restaurants may offer ordering rounds rather than a self-serve line. Check time limits, uneaten-food charges, lunch-versus-dinner menus and whether the entire table must choose the same format.
Hotel holiday brunches
Hotels such as Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and Le Bonne Entente may advertise elaborate buffets for Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas or other special occasions. These are not necessarily weekly offerings and often require advance reservations.
Breakfast buffets outside the centre
Resorts and auberges in the wider region sometimes bundle breakfast with a stay or offer it to outside guests. Call before driving: guest access, format and operating days can change with occupancy and season.

- Confirm adult and child pricing, taxes, service charges and cancellation terms.
- Check what drinks are included.
- Discuss allergies and cross-contact; shared serving utensils create extra risk.
