Onhwa’ Lumina is an immersive nighttime forest walk in Wendake, northwest of central Quebec City. Light, projection, sound, and the natural setting support a story connected to Wendat culture.
What the experience feels like
Visitors move through the forest rather than sitting for a conventional performance. The combination of darkness, illuminated scenes, sound, and landscape creates the sense of entering a story one section at a time.
Our visit was especially meaningful after spending time elsewhere in Wendake. The night walk should complement—not replace—learning directly from Wendat cultural institutions and interpretation.
