What the experience was like
Immersion Québec used wireless virtual-reality headsets and 360-degree scenes to place visitors inside episodes from Quebec City’s history. During our visit, the presentation was available in multiple languages and was followed by interactive group activities.
The strongest feature was perspective: looking up, down, and around made historic streets and buildings feel spatial rather than flat. That helped younger visitors engage with the history without turning the outing into a traditional lecture.
Who it suited
Families with older children, first-time visitors, and travelers who enjoy technology-based interpretation were the clearest audience. Visitors sensitive to VR motion, headsets, or enclosed experiences should ask about accommodations.
